CLOSED THURSDAY

For the first time in many years, The New Rogers Avenue Day Nursery has closed because of inclement weather conditions.  In years past, if we could make it into the center, we would open because we know our parents still have jobs to do.  This year, Mother Nature and the Blizzard of 2010 has whipped us!!!

So, we hope you take this time to enjoy your families, cook some things you have not tried before, read a good book, take a long hot bath, enjoy your mate, watch a good movie, or blog.  Whatever you choose to do, do it safely and stay posted for updated information.

We will continue to update WJZ 13, and WMAR TV2 with our information.  See you soon.

CLOSED TODAY

We have decided to close today because of  the inclement weather.  The snow is still falling and expected to get worse later today, so while you are at home with your little ones go over their reading and letters and work on the Black History project.  Look below for a copy of the February newsletter.

For updates click on the links on this page or go to WMAR TV 2  and WJZ 13.  We will keep you posted and we hope you stay safe.

Here we go again!

What a Beautiful Snow!

The snow that fell overnight was melted by late this afternoon, except for this house.  I took this photo this morning and when I passed the house again, the icicles were still hanging.
I'm saying all this to say that snow has a strange affect on different people (No! We did not make him shovel the snow ;-}). Some people take the opportunity to rest...at the New Rogers Avenue Day Nursery!
